A folly for weekend escapes and some connection with the elements, Taradale Farmhouse represents an idea for some basic relaxation.

Although still currently in concept, this project reduces our needs to basic comforts. With large windows to watch the creek and the wind in the willows, 4 spaces provide room for 2 bedrooms, bathroom and main kitchen and living area. The horizontal form across the landscape evokes some “Farnsworth House” recollections, but the black exterior presents a more contemporary cladding choice, with white lining board interior offering some sense of a more traditional farm house feeling.
